My Review on Etude House's Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream

Hi guys it's Jan! This is my first ever blog on a cosmetic product so wish me luck ( :p). Today my review is about Etude House's Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream. Just recently, I had my first visit to Etude House because of their newly opened store branch in SM North Edsa The Block. I am actually a big The Faceshop a.k.a. TFS fan and  always avail of their products. So when I found out that Etude House opened a branch in The Block I immediately looked for it, knowing that it is one of TFS's rival in Korean Cosmetics. To my surprise, the new Etude House branch was opened just beside TFS store. At that moment, curiosity hit me and bam! I opened my arms to welcome Etude in my faves cause they were just so cute. (LOL)
Anyways, back to the review. The BB Cream comes in a tube dispenser with a sponge tip. However, you can pop off the sponge lid if you wish to dispense the product through the tiny tube hole. Here is a pic of my Etude House's Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream.
Comes in a veeeeery small tube which you can squeeze.

It claims to be Whitening & Anti-Wrinkle, Anti-Darkening and Long lasting Waterproof  plus SPF 50+/PA+++

As you can see, I've already used the sponge method so its stained. :p
My Feel
Well, as a BB Cream with such high SPF, Its oil control is pretty impressive because usually BB Creams with higher SPFs tend to be more oily and I hate that. The coverage is light to medium and very sheer. It's like a tinted moisturizer but in a stronger form in terms of coverage. It dries out matte which is a good thing for me since I usually prefer the smooth looking, matte, non-dewy finish (Usually). I prefer using the small tube hole than the sponge since I find it wastes much product by absorbing it, then with clean fingers, I spread it on my face. Its claim for long lasting and waterproof effects turns out to be very much true! One afternoon I used this BB Cream with a really humid weather raging on. It oiled a bit but its tolerable and produced just enough shine to make me look radiant instead of oily. In fact, it highlighted my features and I love it. However, later on it rained hard as hell and I brought no umbrella (nice move ;p ), I was forced to run through the rain to get to the train station. I got so worried of what I must look like already, but as soon as I faced my compact mirror, I was shocked to see my whole face still intact! LOL. So it does its job.

What you want to know
Pros:
1. Good Coverage
2. Lotion-like scent
3. Light texture, not liquidy but not too creamy
4. HIGHEST SPF BB Cream I've personally ever known.
5. Easily accessible sponge-applicator, handy and not messy, also washable.
Cons:
1. Too small bottle (35g for 978Php only... :( )
2. Not for big gatherings as it has good average coverage only.
3. The sponge soaks up easily and absorbs product.
4. Hygienic prob with sponge.
5. Comes in 2 color tones only, which are both quite fair so it might not suit darker skin tones.

Hope this helped for those BB Cream Seekers and 1st timers!
